India aims for a dramatic increase in mariculture



India’s ICAR-Central Marine Fisheries Research Institute (CMFRI) has set a target of 2.5 million tonnes of mariculture production by 2047 – a huge leap compared to the 150,000 tonnes the country currently farms in the sea.
