Indian scientists make green mussel genome breakthrough



In a move that’s being hailed as a breakthrough for bivalve aquaculture in India, the ICAR-Central Marine Fisheries Research Institute (CMFRI) has sequenced the genome of the Asian green mussel (Perna viridis).
